Heart Failure/Transplant position for a physician from a top tier program or completing training in 2013. Large hospital. Position comes with an academic appointment.
Candidate must be fellowship trained in heart failure and transplant cardiology and UNOS certified or eligible and planning to become certified.
Program is seeking 2 additional dedicated CHF/Transplant physicians.
Vacancy due to expansion of program involving advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation.
Program based at one facility: 600+ beds, dedicated heart hospital, several cath labs, dedicated cardiac ORs, hybrid OR, and several EP labs, and certified Ventricular Assist Device Program.
Advanced Imaging Center provides Cardiac CT and MR studies.
Outpatient clinic provides long term care for transplant patients, patients with left ventricular assist devices and patients with advanced heart failure.
High volume transplant program.
Transplant program includes 4 transplant cardiologists.
Currently, 11 clinical Research Coordinators manage over 65 active clinical trials including drug and device in heart failure.
Practice utilizes cutting edge technology and incorporates latest advancements in patient care including "My Chart" EMR system.
Group consistently ranks in top 10 among the nation's top 100 healthcare networks.
Call shared equally 1/5 to 1/6 with other transplant physicians.
Highly competitive compensation based on experience. Productivity bonus built-in.
